Local Community Help
Being global starts with being Local. To make this world a better place we have to start with us, our family, our neighborhood, our locality, our state, our country. Spoorthy encourages its members who contribute to initiatives aligning to Spoorthy’s mission in their local settings and offer any additional help they need to make them empowered. We help our members –
- Support local schools, food banks, blood banks and orphanages.
- Preserve, maintain and promote the heritage of the people of local Indian origin community by organizing cultural and literary meets on a periodic basis.
- Support humanitarian organizations like Redcross providing emergency relief, disaster relief and preparedness.
- Support research institutions like St. Jude focusing on catastrophic diseases.
- Support organizations involved in helping folks effected by COVID and sometimes directly providing food assistance to the needy.
